E-Line Service
Electric Lightwave's Ethernet Services E-Line products provide metropolitan and long haul connectivity to multiple locations as a point to point (Ethernet Private Line) or point to multipoint (Ethernet Virtual Private Line) service.
Overview of Ethernet Private Line (EPL)
- Replaces traditional private line service and provides dedicated bandwidth between two points.
- Supports a single Ethernet Virtual Connection (EVC) per User Network Interface (UNI).
- Offers more bandwidth at a lower cost when compared to a traditional TDM private line.
- Easy and cost effective upgrades available.
- Bandwidth options range from 3 Mbps to 10 Gbps

- Prevents oversubscription of Committed Information Rate (CIR) bandwidth.
- Allows for oversubscription at the NNI.
